The issue in question is what is written in the post, in the context of the conversation we were having.

We were discussing professional practicioners and their deep knowledge of the equipment they use to generate their hefty incomes. I mentioned basketball players know their sneakers and golfers know their ball composition. The post from cosmo clearly ties ignorance to being black by introducing the hood and by making an unsupported allegation about a black golfer's knowledge. He even tries to mimic what he considers 'hood' grammar, i.e., "yeah, they teach that good in the hood."

(Now, I'm fully aware that ionesco, cosmo and now you want to float the red herring about college athletics and race. But I'm not bothering to get into that topic, since it is an old and chronic issue that has nothing to do with cosmo's post.)

So, how do you vote in the survey?
