Apparently they don't do this much anymore. Back in the day 90% or more of their MBs had two or more pins out of compliance with the appropriate AT/ATX standard.

In the worst case it would fry the PS and MB simultaneously when you replaced the Dell PS with a standard PS.

Apparently something changed their mind and they don't do it anymore (maybe hitting insane profits made them lazy).
