The official schedule is H2, rumor was Q3, so June is pulling it up a bit, just like I expected.

I wonder if storm05 will take note, considering our recent discussion.

It now appears that AMD will have a 3 quarter lead with DC x64 servers, and launch DC A64 desktop almost at the same time as Intel launches Smithfield.

Definitely an Elmo "Oh my!" moment.

cruzbay, yes, the first rumour I´ve seen that AMD won´t let INTEL win all the desktop multixxx benchmarks uncontested. Perhaps that´s why INTEL let the press preview their parts (because that way, they made sure they did, at least for the preview, and received maximum attention)? Anyway, I hope it´s true, and please, not like the Turion launch.
