You can tell how popular he is with the totalitarians of the world in the extraordinary wall-to-wall coverage of his death, with perhaps the largest disconnect in world history between the views of the average person in the world, who either doesn't care or didn't like him, and the fawning coverage from the media, with not one dissenting word questioning his saintliness.<<

They maintain a network of secret monasteries and houses where young Catholics (especially those from wealthy and prominent families) are taken for intensive indoctrination sessions. "Especially those from wealthy and prominent families" --that captures it! Unlike the KKK, Opus Dei is not chasing rednecks... I guess it's closer to Scientology as far as its recruitment policy is concerned: high net worth individuals and/or six-digit salaries only. Losers and wannabes need not apply.
