Jewel's jewels, eh? A perfect example of what I meant by waxing philosophical. As to how one comes across spouting these things, I can only ask you to imagine John Kerry saying them in a speech early in his campaign, before he dropped his "four score and seven years ago" style of public speaking. Many of them could be held against the activities of the republicans, no doubt. And many are so idealistic as to almost be irrelevant to the reality which we currently find ourselves. To what do I owe this outburst of philosophical waxing? Are these your guiding principles?
