This is such a stupid deal! I hope it will never go through. Nobody can ever make money out of that plant, why Shanghai Auto can do it? And in case the deal goes through, this will be just another case China "making cloth for others" (Wei Ta Ren Zuo Jia Yi). And in this case, BMW will eat it alive in 2 years and all the money Chinese put in will go to BMW for nothing.

Yeah, BTW, those 6000 jobs in Britain can exchange into 100000 jobs in China

If the Brits want to save those jobs, that should be their tax payers' money, not Chinese money

LOL. Shanghai Auto said they have never said they want to buy MG Rover and that is only Rover's own wish. That makes sense. How could they so stupid.
