I had forgotten about SP1, Joes post here Message 20963081 is a good one to refresh anyone else's memory about AMD's plans for Spansion fabs. A few posts back you said that Dresden Fab 36 had only hired half the eventual staff expected. But I don't think that is a change from plans, since the monthly wafer starts they estimated are only half the capacity of the fab. You couldn't expect them to use more than half of it until 2008, IMO. I'm sure that when AMD was lobbying for loan guarantees, they talked of the employment at 100% capacity, not half capacity. Petz
