I'll let someone else give you the whys and wherefores concerning company products, but as a suggestion, I'd burn part or all to a CD and take it with me to Best Buy or where ever you shop, pick out your design/model and see if it plays.

I have a Nomad 40 GB digital juke-box(poor man's IPOD.)

According to the manual it would play MP3, WMA and wave files. I have used it only to play my MP3 files. I bought it about three months ago and loaded, at the last count with about 11 GB of music and audio books.

I used it once as a portable hard disk, to bring home some video files(17 GB) from a friend's house. It does what the ad said it would do.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Satish
