The NRA misreads the 2nd amendment just like the religious right misreads the Bible. The 2nd amendment was meant to defend ourselves from tyranny. The real tyranny now is on the rightwing side. They are trying to take over completely, and almost have. Just this week some of them threatened to start shooting federal judges. No joke. The rightwing wack jobs may be a greater danger to us now than Al Qaida.

The ban is an interesting thing. In general, I don't like the idea. You were the 1st I have ever tried in the years I have been here.

But I didn't like it. Looks like you still get to blather at me publicly, but I don't get the message unless I turn the filter off. Can't let you take pot shots at me without e-verbally thrashing you about with your own stupid posts.
