In honoring sensibilities, I'm not debating this topic on this thread, but I can't help notice the irony that I actually agree with you on this, redfish. By the way, why did you ban me from your "Passion" movie thread? Is it because I don't like the movie all that much, even though I own it? If you removed that ban, I would have a clean slate and I promise not to post on your thread.

Remind me never to visit Florida! I think it is just insane to have an armed populace. If the gun laws were not so loose, that gang of hoodlums wouldn't have automatic weapons! I think all the people who hate guns should secede from the union and have a peaceful little country of their own. Or the U.S. could have special interest sections, with one for pacifists. There would be a huge fence around it with metal detectors so people with guns just couldn't even visit there. Or each state in the union could establish what kind of place they wanted it to be, and people who didn't agree could move to another state with a more attractive platform for them.
