I disagree with the statement that "it's been over for some time", but I will humor you Did you support the war in Iraq? (And obviously I am still talking about the war that started in the spring of 2003) Are you always this hard to get a straight answer out of? (to a simple question)

The war in Iraq is over? Since when? Saddam's army was always going to be the easy part. I said that before the invasion and a lot of experts did too. Bush knew Saddam would be toppled quickly. The problem was no advanced planning post-invasion. A terrorist war began then, has been going on ever since and will continue. What do you think would happen if we withdrew our forces now? It's like Vietnam in 1965. We will be very lucky if we can get out of there in 5-10 years.
