Outpatient surgery is like an assembly line these days. There isn't time allotted for the surgeon to work on his bedside manner, let alone hanging around waiting for the patient to wake up.
Yeah. My wife is having it for the 3rd time on her feet in a week.

Hey, they gotta pay for those Ferraris SOMEHOW!

He said that my tendons were "flimsy".

I'm turning him into the PC police for being insensitive to
my tendons.

I suggest you turn this over to someone on Granny's thread. They're good at persecuting, er, prosecuting violations of PC.

Those suckers got rode hard & put away wet for 48 years before I attempted to bend my foot on a 100° angle to my leg for cripes sakes!
1. WTH were you doing when you did that?
2. What inspired you to do it? :-)

The surgeon said I would be in a cast for the next 6 months (see edit below).

My ankle must have been bad. Before the surgery he said I'd be in a removable cast (a moon boot) for 6 to 8 weeks.

THought about suit for breach of contract? :-)

He told my wife no weight bearing for at least the next 2 weeks.
Consider yourself lucky he didn't say the rest of your life! :-)

Before the surgery he said no weight bearing for 2 or 3 days.
See above about breach of contract. :-)

Have I said OUCH yet!!!
No. But it would be redundant. :-)

<<edit - I asked the wife if I had my facts straight. She said everything but the cast. She said that I'll be in a cast for several weeks, then I'll wear a brace for 6 months.>>
I'd still try out the breach of contract. :-)

My bad, I'm blaming my faux pas on the drugs.
Could even be true. :-)

You're excused for not trying to make it to Reno for the get-together and some skiing. :-)
