I agree with how you describe Michael Jackson's world. Where I think we differ is that I believe that since he is not psychotic and clearly has understood since his childhood that he was very unhappy, he could have spent his energy trying to recover rather than going deeper and deeper into a very indulgent fantasy life. I really don't care how he lives his life, but when you start molesting children that really changes the equation for me. Or for that matter if you start beating your children, or your wife. Whenever your own personal messed-up state has such powerful control over your life that you begin hurting others, I think you have the responsibility to seek help. If you don't, then I personally will despise you. So it's just my personal opinion, really. I'm having problems forming really cogent arguments because it's so late--sorry.
