I am, in no way, opposed to public transportation. So I really don't know what you're talkinga about. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who is opposed to public transportation. Really, you haven't? Next time you go down to one of your GOP meetings, look around........most of those around you are opposed to public transportation but then you knew that.I am deeply opposed to the Gulfstream Liberals like Kennedy, Streisand, and Huffington who fly around in their jets, drive their huge SUVs, then tell US not to. What do they have to do with having a good public transportation system? Does your whole life revolve around what they do?I'm all for public transportation, if and when I want to use it I will. If I never want to step foot in it, I won't. And your point was?>>> Where its good, reliance on autos has been reduced. Were the gas be priced at comparable levels to those in Europe, use of public transportation would increase dramatically. It was Z, not me, bitching about the price of gas. The liberals bitch about the price of gas. Yes, and why is that........you know......just take a moment to think.....it will come to you. Of course, what he is really bitching about is the fact that oil companies are permitted to make a profit. Never has such evil existed as exists in Big Oil. Yup, the oil companies are making a huge profit because one of their colleagues has started a war in Iraq that is a supplier of oil. The war has created uncertainty and cut off the Iraqi oil supply, both of which are responsible for the accelerating cost of crude, fueling the profits of the friends of the president.........the oil companies. And btw Z is not the only one getting pissed. That might explain why Bush's approval rating is down to 44%.
