Tell your folks they did nothing to cause the accident...at all! Sometimes things "just happen"... I did the same thing myself...The knee I KNOW there was nothing I did, or didn't do, what caused the miniscus to blow that first time. It just did. And then when I fell, because the knee and ankle were weak, and rolled.... hubby was right there, but there was nothing either one of us could do about it....It rolled, and up in the air I went, and SPLAT ...down I went...broken arm in 6 places, and re-messed up knee...big time. There was one good thing...If I hadn't been using my cane from the first go-around, this time I may have badly injured my face as well. Sometimes we wonder at life..."if I hadn't been there at that second...what would have happened"....on so many different levels we try to second guess things.... But fact is, we made a choice to be there...and "life happened".... It's what and how we deal with it is what counts.
