Well, here is another example of the reality. You have been claiming that Delay is guilty of nothing more than what some Dems. have done. That its no big deal. Well, first Frist and now Santorum, two GOP heavyweights, are gunning for him, suggesting there is more than just smoke to this matter. Furthermore, his consituents are saying they would not now re elect him. From this, what I am to infer? That your moral compass is more accurate than the combined moral compasses of the FMSM, Frist, Santorum and Delay's constituents. Sorry but I don't know you well enough to make that inference. What I do believe is that you are in some kind of intentional denial; that you ignore the FMSM because their message seriously undermines that denial and what you want to believe ; that you are so firmly rooted in your denial that you actually have changed the political spectrem to accomodate your version of left and right and that permits you to put people like Ron Paul firmly into the left when most others would characterize him as right. Doing that then gives you the right to trash him even though he is a member of your own party. The truth is you are not even current with aspects of the war that invalidate Bush's reasons for the invasion of Iraq. You still believe like many believed before the invasion. That makes me incredulous. And that brings me to the dilemma. Its very difficult posting with someone who lives in an alternative universe. You are using a whole different set of facts. There can never be any sort of common ground no matter how respectively we post to each other. That is why I was asked to leave the GW Bush thread..........and why posting with each other is frustrating. I don't know if its new or has been going on for some time, but the right in this country is operating from a whole different set of assumptions than those of the left and the rest of the world. Its a real problem for which I do not have a solution. ted
