Generally the stocks where people have resorted to illegal shorting are small, illiquid and tend to be the worst kind of scams.
Redfish,
Youre explanation has been the cloak over these crooks for many years as they get away with financial murder. Think about what it is you are saying.
Why shouldn't every company have a right to be protected under security laws and regulations? Its ok to naked short the "small" and "illiquid" in your mind? All small companies are scams? Why are they fair game for the crooks? Msft and qcom were small and illiquid at one point in time. This criminal activity must be stopped. I have written to members of the house banking committee. You should too. Fairness for everyone under the law.
