If you're concerned about perjury, refer to Sanchez testimony before the Senate.

In documents provided by the US Army in response to efforts of the American Civil Liberties Union, it is now clear that the top US general in Iraq, Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez, personally ordered the use of some 29 specific practices in dealing with US Army prisoners taken in Iraq. Many of these practices are forbidden by US Army Regulations as contrary to internatinally accepted rules regarding the humane treatment of prisoners of war. In his earlier sworn testimony before a United States Senate Committee, General Sanchez claimed that he had no knowledge of such orders.
