It's not my job to give other people's money away and the willingness to do so isn't generosity. When you're personally nice to people, it makes everybody feel better. Government programs don't work the same way and I can go along with a fair amount of it. If you're not careful though, you start robbing people of motivation and that's not fair to the people you're trying to help or the people whose taxes you're taking. * * *
