I would lot rather have a job than a $200 check from the government. A lot of those churches you don't care for will also feed you if you're hungry and many of them have food banks specifically for that purpose. My son's Eagle Scout project btw was a food drive for the main secular food bank in our area. The Boy Scouts are a good organization too.
