I just bought a book of Anatomy at Costco. It has excellent illustrations of the human body in great detail. The first detailed anatomical studies were drawn by Leonardo Da Vinci. This book includes some of them to illustrate anatomical principles. They were quite explicit, but his genius clearly shows in them.

Michelangelo was a contemporary of Leonardo Da Vinci who painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

I shall not mention the name of the actor who played Michelangelo in the movie version of Irving Stone's "The Agony and The Ecstasy." It's well known that many here detest the man.

Perhaps it was because he was president of the NRA for five years.

Just trying to have a little fun.

I have to quit this conversation, but sorry, art is overrated. Anything can be taken to an extreme. Everyone is unbanned at the Bush thread. I really don't want to fight here. It's just not a fight zone.
