And as I commented to Goldworldnet, like begets like behavior. I've heard many predators were themselves abused at one point in their lives. My life was truly sheltered and blessed, so I know little to nothing of the darker side of human nature from first hand experience. What little I know comes from watching "Law and Order" on TV, which is based on actual events that are so far beyond my experience that it is unreal to me (like Western Gunfights), and therefore safe and entertaining for me to watch. If I had to exist in the midst of that world, I do not know what I would think. I'm sure it would be hard for me to comprehend. When I look at my life, the son of parents who were married for 53 years and the true son of parents-in-law married for 60 years this June, I thank God for my blessings. Certainly I did nothing to deserve them.
