Pure NRA propaganda. for one thing, in the old south, if a black fired on a white he'd be lynched as quick as can be, even if the white were KKK. There were even laws against blacks having guns, and unwritten laws against blacks even talking back to a white man. The story makes no sense. If it were true, it's a total exggeration and very isolated incident. But this NRA propaganda makes it sound like the NRA is protecting the blacks from the KKK. Heston's logic being, that blacks and whites together make for violence and the need for guns, and thus the white must have arsenals to defend themselves even if more and more people die from guns every year. The NRA has nothing to do with blacks. I doubt one in ten thousand are black. This is a whites-only club. if a black man walked into an NRA rally he'd be stared at like a terrorist.
