Tim, This house has been through several direct hits by hurricanes, and has suffered no damage. Got a few limbs blown off the oak trees, but fortunately, they didn't hit anything on their way down. The street is about 3 feet lower than the foundation, so there has been no flooding, regardless of the amount of rain we get, which can be a lot even without a hurricane.

We fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains 3 years ago, and look forward to moving there.
