Intel's paper launch of Smithfield may well backfire in terms of media spin.

First Sonoma is paper launched, now Smithfield.

Although Zhou Zhongsin fails to work it out, he has it between the lines: The bottleneck is chipsets, not Smithfield. Although Intel delivers in Q2, prices (80 dollars, discounted to 65 for selected OEMS as reported earlier from digitimes) indicate these are from pilot mode.

Well, one thing is sure, Intel will be unsuccessful in overturning the heavens --
