Let me make a suggestion........why don't you all secede? You have the right written in your constitution. You don't have American values but rather TX values. And you deserve to be your own nation and then you can do what you damn please.

I think you are putting the shoe on the wrong foot. We seem to be the party with the Congress, Senate and White House for the time being. Y'all had over 40 years, and now perhaps it will be 40 years the other way, or not.

According to you, there are TX GOPers and then there are the rest. Since many of us don't share TX values or the lack thereof, I was suggesting you take advantage of your escape clause.

We have a leader in the White House who is doing such good things that the NYT recently commented that the Iraq strategy surprisingly (to them) seems to be working. Democracy, by some odd coincidence seems to be breaking out all over the Middle East. Let President Bush lead, and let’s see how much President Bush can fix during his remaining 3 years.

Of course, that's a gross exaggeration that grows less true with each passing day.
