Good news!

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- The newly elected president of Iraq said Sunday he expects that U.S. troops will be gone from his country within two years.

And as for the demand for US withdrawal, in a city of ~5 million, the turnout looks pretty low:

Several thousand protesters gathered Saturday in Baghdad to urge the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq as well as to call for national unity and denounce terrorism.

particularly when he would slurp his food.

I believe you, but slurping boiling hot bowls of ramen is a much better way of consuming them than being neat and quiet. Trust me, try it both ways (slurping and eating quietly), and you'll definitely prefer the slurp method. But it aint socially acceptable in the US (and its socially required in Japan, don't slurp, and folks are going to think you're weird).

At the time, I didn't know it was socially required in Japan, and all I could think of was.....what a pig! lol. Another funny thing.........he would put a towel down in the middle of his bed. For the life of me, I could not figure out what he was doing. Then a friend explained to me that the towel was for unanticipated ejaculations during the night. LOL.

Whatever.......it was a good experience and I understand the Japanese mindset a little better. I can see why you like them.......they too are horny as all hell. <g>

Did you hear that they are putting separate cars for women on the commuter trains because of all the complaints by women that men were groping them on the commute to and from work?
