You wrote a lot about no guaranteed contracts, teachers unions, and more evaluation of teacher performance.

What I wrote was (with a little bit of grammatical correction to improve clarity)...."I would say pay teachers ~$30k for the first two years, and then $60k per year from then on, but after the two yaer grace period, 50% get fired every year. "

So if half the teachers are getting fired every year, then of course their would be stronger teacher measurement programs, and zero guaranteed employment. You'd even get harder work (at $30k) for the first two years as the grace period teachers prepare for the challenging third year (if they make the cut to get there).
