#1 That is about the turnover right now. Only they quit after two years.

If the salary were attractive, quitting would cease to be a problem.

#2 Would you like to do your job under the same rules?

If it meant double or triple my current pay, I sure would consider it. And even if I didn't, someone would.

Pay that goes $22k -> $23.5k -> $24k - > $25.5k -> $26k..... isn't going to keep people around. But $20k -> $23k -> $60k will, trust me!

Hey BWAC, if I don't do my job well, I get fired. Teachers can do their job shittily and as long as they don't break any rules, they don't get fired. That's what gov't work and unions gets you.

So the short answer to you question is that all of us in the real world have to work under those rules every day of our lives.
