< I used SOX as a proxy for 'semis'. I agree AMAT has been in a band for 10 months.

Fundamentals and stock prices do not always correlate. We are in a period IMHO where people prefer tangible investments over ideas(ie technology).

Just because the stocks are not going up does not mean that many of these companies are not seeing record revenue and earnings; INTC is an example.
