The point is, the rightwing isn't what it pretends to be. The black and white view of the world is entirely unrealistic. Once you grasp that, you start looking at everything from a more moderate perspective, and can see both sides of the story. I did not insult the Marines. I questioned why ex-Marines require assault rifles after they become civlians. The Boy Scouts - hey - my scout master molested and killed a kid. Was never punished. Charlton Heston - told a cheering NRA crowd that in olden times guys like Al Gore would be lynched. Even after Gore made it clear he wasn't trying to take away their guns. The NRA crowd responded "how much rope do you need?" and laughed. So why not stand up to these hateful buffoons? Your religion - shouldn't get politically involved The GOP - has been hijacked by an unholy alliance and needs to cleanse its nest. Ousting DElay is just the beginning.
