Ted is myopically leftwing. They were Republican tires, and so it was childish prank; a fit of youthful pique. No big deal. The coordinated attacks by union thugs on Bush Cheney campaign headquarters across the country was no big deal IHO.

Of course if Republicans were to do it, they would be the worst thing ever.
