No problem....It's really strange how 3 of us here are all having computer woes at the same time ... Our son told hubby last night that my computer was an antique...... I got a little huffy....I bought it in 2001....

Old, at 4 years old. I did tell him that not EVERYONE can afford to buy the newest, latest, and greatest every year, when he talked about "it's the owners' job to keep up with all the changes...."

Remember when computers first became available for the mass market....I paid over $4,000 for the one I had for my business office, in 1990.....and had two more before the one in 2001.... the bad news is the floppy disks and Zips seem now to be dinosaurs...but the good news is the computers are not anywhere near so expensive.

The printer ink is nearly as expensive as the printer.... Well, maybe not. I just got a new HP scanner, printer, copier that has a fax too...

We've got SW Bell DSL and I swear, every single time I've had to call them this year, it's been routed to an over seas person who's reading from a script. You ask them nicely to speak with a tech, "no problem ma'am, now lets try this". They just ignore you. After about 30 minutes if this, you demand to speak with someone in the US and they accidently disconnect you.
