Qwik - Any speculation on Bechtolsheim's design and how it will leap frog the industry? My thought is it really will not be anything significant unless it utilizes the new AMD dual core processors w/ three or four in parallel mounted on one blade server platform. Everything is integrated with the new Niagara OS. The new configuration runs cool and is extremely fast.

Hope we see something soon.

notice that the amd opteron juggernaught has not damaged intel in the least...of course it is late and that has given chipzilla time to counter the move....now it looks as if the sun micro opteron boxes(YAWN) are a second half phenomenon. Sun micro needs distribution!! What a debacle and for a save the company effort at that....Intel by then will have 64bit kit out. the difference, if there is any advantage to amd, will be INconsequential. Now was this so hard to predict for a company that relies on a business plan distributed via PRnewswire monday thru friday?
