They guy who fixed my moms house in west palm worked 18 hour days and had about 6 guys under him, amazing how his crack habit motivated him to slave away in the hot sun. illegal from cuba as well - I think a few of his men used the stuff too, but I only caught him smoking it. Amazing what motivates different cubans to get up and work everyday.
Normally don't like unlicensed people working on stuff, but the legal guys were 6 months backlog after the hurricanes and section 8 was threatening to stop the rental check if we didn't get certain things fixed pronto.

Don't know how permits or such will factor into this but hear florida is gonna start cracking down on all the illegal contsruction guys with new legislation soon - enforcing it is another matter.
