I agree that Clinton is probably one of the best Presidents of the 20th Century; I would rank him near the nineteenth best in the twentieth century. He certainly was the first President to bring the shame of being convicted of a crime while in the White House.

And so was Nixon IMO. But...

I assume you're referring to the woman from San Diego......the one that did a boxing round with Tanya Harding. From what I understand, she now is claiming the GOP put her up to making those accusations.

You see.........when you get in the gutter with certain people you can't trust what they will say in the future.

Its too bad you all had to smear one of the best presidents this country had in the 20th century.

I have no idea who you are talking about.

Yes, you do. As the linked article in your post says, the GOP is obsessed with the Clintons. And there is good reason. They are the biggest threat to the GOP to come along in years.......and they worry you all deeply. They are smart, competent, and good. And they know how to play the GOP game just as well as you all. And all the intended smear campaigns pushed by the right have turned out to be false............until Monica. I will never forgive Clinton for that one......not for the reasons the GOP thinks but for giving the right an opening that would stick.

But let us walk down memory lane by doing a recap of the Clinton years...........Clinton oversaw the longest peacetime expansion in US history. His administration saw some of the lowest unemployment rates since the 1950s. More people went off welfare than at any other time in US history. World respect for the US was at an all time high. The internet began to show its value. Budget deficits ended and budget surpluses became the norm. I could go on for a long time but I am starting to feel maudlin. Looking at our golden years and seeing where we are today can not help but make one feel depressed.

The truth is the GOP is destroying this country with its hubris and mendacity, and they must be stopped before its too late.
