Another funny thing.........he would put a towel down in the middle of his bed. For the life of me, I could not figure out what he was doing. Then a friend explained to me that the towel was for unanticipated ejaculations during the night. Uh huh. And this other "friend" was also Japanese, or how did he come to this conclusion? Whatever.......it was a good experience and I understand the Japanese mindset a little better. I wouldn't be too sure of that if I were you. That was my initial take......that he was weird. But then I passed it off to cultural differences. In the end, I actually kind of liked him. He was a nice guy in spite of his weirdness. Did you hear that they are putting separate cars for women on the commuter trains because of all the complaints by women that men were groping them on the commute to and from work? No, and I doubt that that is correct. Virtually every train in Japan is a "commuter" train, and there are a gazillion of them. But I will vouch that based on my discussions with Japanese women, 100% have been felt up on crowded trains - an amazing statistic when you think about it. I'm totally in favor of more healthy sex for any population - but I am not at all supportive of men abusing women on a crowded train because they are in close, crowded proximity, and it is not socially acceptable for the woman to complain publicly. Those men are pigs that deserve a broken nose.... I agree. ted
