Interesting. If I understand it right the ESOP policy since AMDs exchange program is grants at strikes of the actual stock price at date of grant, no? There might be other grants beside this program though - I believe to remember they got approval for something at last stockholders meeting but did not dig into what it really was.

Could it be the figure you posted includes shares issued wrt to bond conversion premium in Q4 last year? (being expensed at some 50M iirc.)
