OT stuff, Amy, RE: Does Toyota have to spend $5B per year on medical costs like GM does?

As GM loves to remind us almost daily, they pay a tremendous amount of money each year for retiree health benefits, money that Toyota doesn't have to pay.

Californians saw $1.5B flow from Calif to Texas during the oil trading thievery. They should get their money in a more honest way.

Who is the "they" that you're talking about? And how is that relevant to the price of energy?

A few years? Wait a minute, let's back up here. It takes the energy industry a few years to correct itself, not a decade, right? It's already been a few years. There won't be anyone left in hightech if we have to wait for an entire decade.

It has only been a five years ago, 1999, that the energy business was so bad that a lot of producers were going bankrupt, and the price of most all fossil fuels was very low. It hasn't been a few years at all. That's a trough to a peak of 6 years. That is a pretty short cycle.

How long do you think this will take?

Could you be more clear what you're looking for when you say "this"?
