The Schiavo case showed the public no longer trusts Bushies. They may not trust others much either, but right now they do not trust the leadership in the White House, nor congress. That means a real crisis of confidence in this country. In 2006, you can expect a massive sea-change in congress. Anyone related to Tom Delay will be bounced and more honest leaders from both parties will take their places. Bush doesn't care too much. He has huge paychecks waiting for him in 2008. If he can just avoid being impeached, he'll be more than satisfied.
