JF, Don't get me wrong, Intel has it's weaknesses... the stock price, for instance.

Oh geez, you had to remind me. :-(

Just to put a different perspective on the stock price, however, Intel's market cap is still 4.18 times sales. Compare that to AMD (1.34), and you have a rough estimate of how much the market values Intel's dominant position and brand name (and perhaps how much the market dislikes AMD's marketing and management).

Now if only Intel can look like a growth company again, we might see rises in the stock price that match the recent performance of AAPL, for instance. Then maybe I can take one more step towards my goal of being "filthy rich" ... ;-)
