Nonrev, I never claimed to be a Christian, but stated that I believe Bush to be one, and a gentleman. I also stated that I have information from personal "inside" sources that even Jimmy Carter, despite their differences, believes Bush and his father are decent men.

Nonrev, your style of writing, which is just like Raymond's, intrests me. I have two cousins who back in the 1960's imagined themselves to be campus radicals of the most severe type. They absorbed their radicalism mostly from some Marxist journalism instructor and in their minds at least they are still marching, protesting and storming the dean's office just like 40 years ago. And they employ a writing style so similar to other lefties that it is spooky to read something written in another part of the country and by another person and knowing that it not the writing of my cousin.

If you ever come across a political screed from the 1920's or 1930's and see the word "flaming" in the text then you can be sure that what you are reading is the work of a communist writer of that era. The style of attack that is employed by leftie writers of today is pure Trotsky, plain and simple. Then and now the word "shocking" is used repeatedly as a modifier for commonplace items by the international communist left; a sort of "retro-1930's" hyperbole. The term "fascist" is another favorite.
