And now this:

Imclone discontinue Small Molecule Program 2005-05-12 07:43:47

33.47: Co filed 8-K disclosing that on May 11 it's Board of Directors committed to a plan to discontinue the Co's small molecule program. This action was taken after completion of an evaluation of the research being conducted within the small molecule group, and took into account the time horizon before commercial benefits would be realized. The Company expects this plan to be completed by the middle of July 2005. In connection with discontinuing the small molecule program, IMCL will incur pre-tax charges of approx $2 mln in Q2 of 2005 associated with one-time termination benefits. In addition, Co is analyzing its options with respect to the disposition of the long-lived assets used by this group, which as of April 30, 2005 amounted to approx $5.5 mln.
