Go ahead and keep telling yourself that. Any anyone who is just plain stupid as a brick might believe you. Ask yourself who it is that votes against veterans benefits again and again? The republicans. They don't care about the troops. Not when it comes to veterans' benefits. Check the record. But we all know that you don't care. You are just like them.

That is BS that Repubs only care about the troops. In fact it's almost 100% the opposite. If Bushies care so much about the troops, why do they cut their benefits, send them into a war without preparation and no exit strategy, over-tend their tours, fail to supply them with the right armor and humiliate them by privatizing military non-combat jobs by paying Halliburton truckdrivers and cooks 150 K a year? The fact is, not a single major rightwinger leader has ever served in combat, Bush himself went AWOL and lied about it the ones they care about most are the Halliburtons pof the world, not the troops themselves. Except of course when they need extras for Bush's damage-control photo ops.
