Emile, my old buddy. It sounds to me like this is a difficult passage for Mr. Logan. Matthew 25 has nothing to do with individual salvation. It is strictly a national judgment of nations, and is completely based on treatment of Christ's brethren. Belief in Christ is strangely missing here. I wonder why? Where is faith in this judgment?

If you would like to know where individual salvation is explained, please see Romans esp. chapter 5.

Mr. Logan's assertion that there is some problem with calling the devil the adversary or slanderer is a new one on me. I don't think it matters which term is used. The devil/slanderer/adversary will be cast into the lake of fire and tormented along with the beast and the false prophet in the presence of the Lamb. I've never heard any believer in universal reconciliation claim that the adversary is not the devil.

Now he gets into the same old argument that if the unrighteous don't spend eternity in hell, then neither can the righteous spend eternity in heaven. If only he and you could grasp the difference between the rest of the ages and eternity. Eternity and the ages are two entirely different things. Ages--The last two ages will be the reigns of Christ. When the reigns of Christ end, and they will end, the ages will end. See 1 Corinthians 15:22-28. Christ will not reign forever and ever. How many times must I repeat this biblical truth. If Christ reigns forever, He will not defeat all enemies. See 1 Corinthians 15:22-28 again and again until you really see that Christ will only reign until He has defeated all enemies, NOT FOREVER AND EVER

For the record again. The lake of fire only lasts until death itself is abolished. Believers will be given EONIAN life during the rest of the ages. Unbelievers will spend the rest of the ages in the lake of fire. The ages will end 1 Corinthians 10:11 and Heb. 9:26. Christ, by virture of His completed work on the cross will abolish death which will in turn vivify those held in death in the lake of fire. At this point Christ will fulfill His role as the Savior of all. Remember 1 Timothy 2:6 Christ..Who gave Himself a ransom for all, TO BE TESTIFIED IN DUE TIME. Then God will be all in all.

So Mr. Logan doesn't really know what universal reconciliationists believe.

Study up on the word aion and it's adjective form, aionios/aionion.

Edit: Apparently you missed this in one of my previous posts to you.

"It shall greatly helpe ye to understand Scripture,
if thou mark not only what is spoken or wrytten,
but of whom, and to whom, with what words,
at what time, where, to what intent, with what circumstances,
considering what goeth before and what followeth after."

Rev 20:10
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV)

I know many good Christians who believe that God will make some kind of exception for the Jews, the Mormons etc and actually place themselves on the same level with these two groups in particular. These are not re\jecting Christ, merely including the others.

I am not positive this is a fatal error in theology but it surely would be a major stumbling block in the pathway of winning souls and living a victorious life for Christ. Plus I can see being so confused as to the true nature of God that ones life would be a constant state of confusion.

An aside. The exclusionary sins of " adulterers, fornicators, revilers, etc. such as these shall not inherit the kingdom of heaven. To me this means you can be the best Christian and if you allow yourself to be caught up in these sins, drunks too , you are automatically excluded from the kingdom. I cannot figure how these verses are ignored.
