How do you know it's 30%? That seems an awful lot. I'll have to do some 4 pi r2 calculations to check it. But surely somebody has done some clickable calculations we can check to save the trouble.

It's such a big deal, I bet Google has 1000s of such links.

Maybe you are assuming that the increase is due to people, rather than actually calculating how much CO2 would be produced by all the oil, gas and coal which has been burned over the last century. The amount in the atmosphere is easily calculated since we know it's 380 ppm [if that's the right figure - I haven't checked]. That should all be laid out somewhere too.
