Amy, it is a good buy if you have a long time horizon and are willing to wait to sell. I'm not that patient and don't like tying up money without some indication/confirmation of a stock price uptrend. If AMAT stock daily volumes start increasing, along with price, that is probably an early clue. AMAT goes exdividend for holders of record on May 16, I believe. This event might stimulate some near term buying activity, for the dividend payout in the June timeframe, but it might also be a catalyst for additional sell off after the dividend is distributed. In any case good luck if you buy....I prefer to continue to raise cash.
