not sure tire rotation at todays costs saves you anything.

Costco in KoP did rotation as part of the service, when wheel balancing.

Neither of my digital gauges lasted that long. The most recent is still in my car, unused. My tire pressure gets checked when I get my oil changed. Don't drive much. My tires will get dry rot before they wear out regardless of my attention or inattention to tire pressure. My only concern with underinflated tires would be an incident when I'm driving autobahn speed on the beltway.

I had a problem last year with an underinflated tire on a rental car on the Catalina Highway driving down Mt. Lemon in Tucson while they were repairing the roads and the guard rails were not in place. Managed to get the car stopped before going over but that was enough tire scare to last a lifetime.
