Re: Perhaps we'll get a man of true integrity like McCain.

Be careful what you wish for. Winslow Wheeler, the author of "The Wastrels of Defense: How Congress Sabotages U.S. Security" excoriated McCain in this interview:
booknotes.org

Wheeler correctly notes that while McCain enjoys great press and is a natural ham, McCain rarely if ever follows through on his tough talk about integrity and protecting the public's purse. Instead, McCain's modus operandi is to pontificate in front of the cameras, and then meekly go along with the fraud, waste and abuse he rails against when the cameras aren't watching. If you compare McCain's voting record to his rhetoric, you'll find this to be true.

Re: It's just unfortunate that stupid Americans vote for the candidate with the most dollars to spend on commercials and not for the men of integrity.

Well said, I could not agree more. Now we should equally apply this dictum to those fortunate men, like McCain, who get good publicity for free, and still bamboozle the naive public.
