Fact: Finkelstein is gay. Fact: He is working for the Republican Party which virulently opposes equal rights for gays. And many of the theocrats that have taken over the party, advocate even stronger measures against gays.

Given these facts, why do YOU think Finkelstein still works for the Republican Party?

On a related note, there is this strange group called Log Cabin Republicans, I think, that is composed of gay Republicans. Now, given the vitriol that the Republican Party spills on the gays, why are these folks still in that party? The only explanation I can think of is that they loathe themselves.
